Building on a wealth of collaboration, we have assembled a team of three leading academic and one industrial partner to form an excellence network in spintronics that provides the ideal platform for the scientific development of novel technologies as well as the education and training of excellent students and researchers. We have chosen the two leading academic institutions in Japan (Tohoku University - TU) and Korea (Seoul National University - SNU) for spintronics as our ideal partners to carry out high impact work. Between the partner universities and institutions hundreds of joint papers have already been published in the past few years. Furthermore, joint projects have been initiated and successfully carried out in the past.
